The Model Team managed to outscore the average this week and move up slightly in an ok Week 34. Tim Howard was the star man in goal after keeping a clean sheet away at Sunderland and gaining bonus; he only added 1 more point in the defeat to Crystal Palace. Wojciech Szczesny was left on the bench but conceded to West Ham at home for just appearance points. Seamus Coleman and Sylvain Distin both did well in defence with their clean sheets against Sunderland, however they did not really add much to that at home to Crystal Palace. John O’Shea conceded three over the two games without producing any more, with Pablo Zabaleta completing the defence in scoring zero points despite playing the entirety of both games. The highest scoring midfielder was Jack Colback this week surprisingly as he played both games and was given a clean sheet point against Everton due to an early substitution. Adam Johnson scored appearance points across the two games also but received a yellow card against Everton. Yaya Toure was captained for a disappointing 2 points due to an injury early into the game against Liverpool however no midfielder left on the bench was able to outscore him. Jordan Henderson was sent off late against Man City for a negative score, whilst Tom Huddlestone was without a fixture. Luis Suarez managed an assist in the win over Man City up front this week and was joined by Peter Crouch who somehow was unable to convert against Newcastle. Andreas Weimann was benched and only played nine minutes against Crystal Palace.
